This unique three-day festival combines some of
Terre Haute's most popular annual events including Bleemel Days
(featuring locally made beers, Indiana microbrews, and other favorites) Crossroads ArtsFest and The Vigo County Public Library's Family Learning Day. The Terre Haute Street Fair guarantees great food, live music, local artists and a children's learning area. In addition to these familiar favorites, organizers are planning a car show, horse carriage rides, a farmer's market and other exciting attractions for all ages.
Andrew Conner, executive director, Downtown Terre Haute Inc., believes this event is important for
Terre Haute
.
"It's a time to celebrate our heritage and our future," he said. "From Family Learning Day to ArtsFest to Bleemel Days, there is something for everyone to enjoy all day."
Festivities start Friday, September 26 at
5 p.m. and continue until Sunday, September 28 at 4 p.m.
The Terre Haute Street Fair is a fundraiser for Downtown Terre Haute, Inc., an organization whose goal it is to revitalize downtown and make it a better place to live, work and play.
This is a rain or shine event. The Street Fair
