Brugge Brasserie and Terre Haute Brewing Company Negotiating to Launch Bottling and Distribution of Brugge Brews Statewide
Broad Ripple, IN (February 23, 2007) – Brugge Brasserie, of Indianapolis, known throughout the region for its hand crafted Belgian beers, is currently in final negotiations with Terre Haute Brewing Company to launch the bottling and distribution of its acclaimed brews for a wider statewide audience.
As part of the agreement, Brugge will also develop and produce a line of specialty beers for a private label.
Located at 401-403 South 9th Street in Terre Haute, Indiana, the Terre Haute Brewing Company was established in 1837 and is the second oldest active brewery in the United States.
Ted Miller of Brugge Brasserie said the agreement will be finalized shortly. The group plans to have several handcrafted Brugge beers available in bottles and draft. They anticipate products will be available by the end of May.
